What this seal plate gasket does in the Koral

How to install it

Isolate the pump, drain the volute, and remove the bolts securing the seal plate to the pump body. Peel the old gasket out of its groove, clean the mating faces of any scale or debris, and seat the new gasket dry — no sealant is required or recommended. Torque the seal-plate bolts evenly in a cross pattern to avoid distorting the gasket. Refit, reprime, and check for weepage at operating pressure before returning the pump to service.
