Davey – EcoSalt BMSC Cell Cord – U-Shape Cell (All BMSC Models)

The M2678 is the genuine Davey cell cord (cable assembly) for the EcoSalt BMSC salt chlorinator series. It is the flexible lead that carries power from the BMSC power supply to the connectors on the underside of the U-shaped electrolytic cell, enabling the chlorinator to produce sanitising chlorine for your pool. This is an OEM spare designed specifically for the BMSC U-shape cell format and is not interchangeable with other Davey chlorinator series.

Kompatybilność

This cell cord fits all EcoSalt BMSC models: BMSC 13, BMSC 20, and BMSC 26. The BMSC series is characterised by its distinctive inverted U-shaped electrolytic cell with two voltage terminals and a gas detector at the top. It does not fit EcoSalt ESC, ESR, or EcoSalt 2 series — each of those platforms uses a different cell cord (M2679 or M2686). Confirm your model number on the power supply label before ordering.

Davey’s own documentation warns against non-genuine electrical components, noting that copy parts can cause serious damage to the power supply electronics and void the warranty. Using the correct OEM cord ensures proper polarity is delivered to the black and white cell connectors and to the gas sensor, keeping the chlorinator’s protective systems functioning as designed. The EcoSalt BMSC range is now phased out, making genuine stock increasingly scarce — order promptly to secure this part.

Instalacja

The cell cord connects the power supply’s flexible lead to the underside of the U-shaped cell: black connectors attach to the outer titanium rods and the white connector to the middle titanium rod. All electrical work must be carried out by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations. Turn off the power supply completely before disconnecting or reconnecting any cell leads.
