Badu – Counter current system Jet Turbo Light 1.2kW 230VAC ABS white

Running at 1.2 kW on a standard 230 V single-phase supply and delivering up to 245 m³/h, the Badu Jet Turbo Light is a wall-mounted, submerged counter-current system that turns any in-ground pool into an effectively endless swim lane. Its white ABS housing with stainless steel accents is built to resist continuous pool-water exposure while keeping the poolside aesthetic clean and unobtrusive.

Motor & drive concept

Unlike the magnetic-coupling design of earlier Badu Jet Turbo models, the Jet Turbo Light uses a directly flanged motor with a DC drive shaft, with watertightness provided by a mechanical shaft seal. This simplified drivetrain reduces the number of wear components and makes routine servicing straightforward. Three individually selectable power levels can be programmed on the motor itself, giving swimmers a choice between a gentle current for relaxed aquatic exercise and a stronger flow for fitness training or rehabilitation.

Control & user experience

Switching between off, level 1, level 2, and level 3 is handled either through the touch keypad integrated into the front fascia of the unit or via a separate remote control — no poolside wiring or secondary control box required for day-to-day operation. The nozzle can be adjusted directly from within the water without tools, allowing swimmers to fine-tune the current direction mid-session.

Installation & pool compatibility

The Jet Turbo Light is designed for through-wall installation in new-build or existing in-ground pools and is compatible with pools of varying wall thicknesses, with optional additional kits available for walls from 8 mm upward. The white ABS body blends readily with liner, tile, and composite pool finishes, making it a versatile retrofit option as well as a new-build choice.
