Rain Bird – Assembled Valve Box Rectangular HDPE 1″ 3-Zone Green

Supplied fully assembled with three 24 VAC solenoid valves on a 1″ BSP male thread manifold, this Rain Bird rectangular HDPE valve box is ready to connect to your controller straight out of the box. A built-in drainage connection keeps the assembly frost-free over winter, and the green lid blends discreetly into turf and planted borders. Zone-identification labels are included, so commissioning is clean and straightforward from day one.

Factory-assembled manifold & wiring

The unit arrives with all three solenoid valves pre-plumbed and a waterproof cable box already wired to each solenoid — the only on-site task is connecting your controller cable. The 24 VAC solenoids are compatible with the full range of Rain Bird 24 VAC multi-zone controllers, and the box can be daisy-chained to additional units to expand the system to an unlimited number of zones without re-piping the mainline.

Enclosure construction & ground protection

The rectangular body is moulded from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which resists UV exposure, soil moisture, and chemical action from ground soils. The corrugated side walls and wide flanged base keep the box stable under soil compression and surface loading. The green lid sits flush with the surrounding grade, protecting components from the elements while remaining unobtrusive in landscape settings.

Frost drainage & winterisation

An integrated drainage connection allows the manifold cavity to be emptied at the end of the irrigation season, making winterisation straightforward without the need to excavate or dismantle valves. The 1″ male BSP inlet and outlet threads accept standard pressure hose fittings, making it easy to tie into an existing mainline or extend with flexible pressure hose.
