This is the genuine OEM replacement motor unit for the Pentair UltraFlow Plus and SuperFlo filtration pump range at the 2.2 kW (3 HP) three-phase rating. It bolts directly onto the existing pump body, restoring the drive assembly to factory specification without replacing the hydraulic end.

The motor drives the Noryl impeller that circulates pool water through the filtration circuit. Running on a three-phase 380–420 V / 50 Hz supply, it delivers the torque and thermal headroom required for continuous duty on pools where a three-phase electrical installation is available. Indicators include the pump failing to start or tripping the circuit breaker repeatedly, a loud grinding or humming noise from the motor end (rather than cavitation noise from the hydraulic end), heat marks or a burning smell near the motor casing, and visible play or roughness in the shaft when spun by hand with power disconnected.

Hoe installeer je het?

Motor replacement requires isolating and locking off the three-phase supply at the distribution board before starting work. Remove the quick-release stainless-steel clamp collar joining the motor to the pump body, slide the old motor clear, transfer the mechanical seal if the new unit does not include one, and refit in reverse order. Torque the clamp collar evenly. Electrical reconnection — including correct phase rotation for the direction-of-rotation arrow on the motor casing — must be carried out by a qualified electrician in line with local regulations.
