At 7.5 kW (10 HP) and a maximum flow rate of 33 m³/h against an 11-bar rated system, the Foras KB 1000 T sits at the powerful end of the KB series and is well suited to large-scale pool circulation, commercial irrigation, and industrial pressurisation duties. The dual-opposed Noryl impellers generate high head with strong volumetric delivery, and the 2″ suction / 1¼” discharge female-threaded ports allow straightforward integration into existing pipework.

The KB series is built around two counter-posed impellers that balance axial thrust while sustaining the head pressures needed for demanding civil and industrial plant. With an 11-bar pressure rating and a 33 m³/h peak throughput, the KB 1000 T handles high-resistance systems — long pipe runs, elevated header tanks, or commercial pool plant rooms with multiple filtration circuits — where a single-impeller pump would fall short.

Motor, protection & electrical supply

The three-phase motor draws 13.9 A at 230/400 V (50 Hz) and carries IP55 ingress protection, making it suitable for damp plant-room environments. Motor windings are insulation class F, and built-in thermal overload protection shuts the motor down before damaging temperatures are reached. The pump leaves the factory ready for connection by a qualified electrician; no cable is included.

Construction & mechanical seal

The pump body, motor bracket, and volute are cast iron for rigidity and longevity under continuous duty, while the impellers are moulded in Noryl for corrosion resistance and dimensional stability. A type-H carbon/ceramic mechanical seal handles water temperatures up to 90 °C, and the stainless-steel shaft resists the bending loads imposed by a 7.5 kW drive. Overall footprint (L × H × W) is 605 × 330 × 275 mm, so adequate plant-room clearance should be confirmed at the design stage.
