The STP-2200SS is a professional-grade counter current pump delivering an adjustable swim-against-current experience in any in-ground or above-ground pool. Rated at 2.2 kW (3 HP) on a three-phase 400 VAC supply, it pushes up to 55 m³/h through a 40 mm directional nozzle with water-and-air regulation — enough current for regular swimming training and aqua fitness. It is suited to residential and commercial installations where a permanent, wall-integrated swim jet is required.

This unit is built to provide a steady, adjustable counterflow for swimmers of all abilities, from leisure use through to structured fitness training. The 40 mm nozzle allows fine-tuning of jet intensity and air-to-water mix, while the electropneumatic switch with safety element lets the swimmer start and stop the pump poolside without touching electrical controls. It is compatible with all pool types and liner materials.

Bouwkwaliteit

The motor shaft is manufactured in stainless steel AISI-304 for long-term corrosion resistance, and the motor housing is cast in aluminium alloy L-2521 for a good strength-to-weight ratio. The motor carries IP55 ingress protection and Class F insulation, making it well suited to the humid, chemical-rich environment of a pool plant room. The three-phase 400 VAC configuration distributes load evenly across phases, reducing electrical stress compared with a single-phase equivalent.

Installation & what’s in the box

Pipework connects via 75 mm glue sockets, keeping the installation neat and leak-free once solvent-welded. The package includes the counter current unit with front cover panel, two 75 mm ball valves for isolation, the 40 mm nozzle assembly, and an air tube kit for the pneumatic switch — meaning the key installation components arrive together. Professional electrical connection to a three-phase supply by a qualified installer is required.
