This is the genuine OEM pre-filter basket for the Kripsol Koral KS and KSE pool pump range. It sits inside the pre-filter housing and intercepts leaves, hair, and coarse debris before they can reach the impeller, protecting the pump’s hydraulic core during every filtration cycle.

The basket mounts in the transparent pre-filter chamber and acts as the pump’s first line of defence against blockage. Water drawn from the pool passes through the basket’s perforated wall, leaving solids trapped inside. Without an intact basket, debris bypasses this stage and lodges against the impeller, causing loss of flow or mechanical seizure. A moulded handle lets you lift the basket clear of the housing without tools during routine cleaning.

This basket is confirmed for the Koral KS and KSE series, spanning the full power range — KS/KSE 33, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, and 300 variants. The housing geometry is shared across those models, so one part number covers the complete lineup. Do not fit this basket to the Kapri or Ondina pump families, which use different housing dimensions.

Segnali che indicano la necessità di sostituirlo

Inspect the basket every time you clean the pre-filter chamber. Replace it immediately if you see cracked ribs, a warped rim that no longer seats flush against the housing, or mesh sections that have split open — any gap allows debris to bypass the basket entirely. Reduced pump flow with a visibly empty basket is another reliable indicator that material is escaping through a failure point in the plastic.

Come installarlo

Spegni la pompa e chiudi le valvole di intercettazione. Svita o sgancia il coperchio trasparente in policarbonato del prefiltro, solleva il vecchio cestello tramite la maniglia, inserisci il nuovo cestello finché il bordo non si posiziona completamente, poi rimonta il coperchio e riapri le valvole. Non sono richiesti attrezzi speciali e l'operazione richiede meno di cinque minuti. Verifica che non ci siano perdite d'aria all'O-ring del coperchio prima di riavviare la pompa.
