This is the genuine AstralPool replacement diffuser assembly with elbow inlet, designed specifically for the AstralPool Vic Filter Ø1200 1½” 1.0M 2.5 Kg/Cm² (parent SKU 11512N) manufactured after June 2019. The diffuser assembly sits at the top of the filter’s internal distribution system, spreading incoming water evenly across the sand bed to ensure efficient filtration and prevent channelling or bypass. It corresponds to position 17A in the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram.

Compatibilità

This part is engineered exclusively for the AstralPool Vic Filter Ø1200 1½” 2.5 Kg/Cm² units produced after June 2019. The Vic Filter is an industrial bobbin-wound sand filter available in diameters from 1050 mm to 3000 mm; this diffuser assembly is sized and shaped for the 1200 mm variant only. Always verify your filter’s production date and model reference before ordering, as pre-June 2019 units use a different diffuser part number.

The diffuser head is critical to even water distribution during both filtration and backwash cycles — a correctly designed diffuser increases the freeboard between the sand surface and the diffuser head, ensuring better water spread and preventing sand from entering the lateral collector arms during backwashing. Installazione

This assembly replaces a worn, cracked, or damaged diffuser at position 17A of the Vic Filter Ø1200 internal manifold. It is recommended that installation is carried out by a qualified pool technician: the filter must be fully depressurised and drained to the appropriate level before the top cover is opened and the diffuser exchanged. Refer to the official Fluidra exploded-view diagram (position 17A) to confirm correct orientation and seating before reassembling the cover.
