The Control Monitor control cabinet integrates a UV-C sensor and a water temperature sensor, delivering real-time process feedback with built-in alarm and warning functions. Low-Pressure Lamp Performance

The low-pressure amalgam lamp delivers consistently high UV-C output regardless of water temperature, maintaining effective pathogen destruction across the full operating range. Lamp lifetime reaches up to 16,000 hours, keeping maintenance intervals long and running costs low. Each lamp is integrated via VGE Pro’s patented Smart Pin Technology (SPT), which allows safe lamp replacement while the reactor remains pressurised and without disconnecting the electrical connection — a significant practical advantage for busy commercial facilities.

Controller & Safety Features

The Control Monitor unit provides active monitoring through its UV-C sensor, alerting operators immediately when lamp output falls below required thresholds. The onboard temperature sensor and alarm outputs allow integration with building management or BMS systems, supporting the duty-of-care requirements of public and semi-public aquatic facilities. A flow switch can be connected as an optional safety interlock, ensuring the lamp is never energised without adequate water flow through the reactor.
