Hanna Instruments saddle clamp injector for Ø63 mm pipe, for BL10x/BL12x/BL13x (BL120-263)

The BL120-263 is a saddle clamp injection point that lets a Hanna Instruments dosing pump feed chemical into a Ø63 mm PVC pressure pipe. It clamps around the pipe over a drilled hole and provides a threaded port for the injector or injection valve, so no pipework has to be cut or re-glued. It is used with the BL10x, BL12x and BL13x dosing pump families found in commercial pool water treatment installations.

Mire alkalmas

Designed for Ø63 mm rigid PVC pipe used on pool circulation and dosing lines. It is intended for use with Hanna Instruments BL10x, BL12x and BL13x series dosing pumps and their standard injection valves. Pipe diameter is fixed, so check the outside diameter of your line before ordering.

Beépítési helyzet

Fit the saddle clamp on the pressure side of the circulation pump, downstream of the filter and after any heater, so dosed chemical is carried away and diluted immediately. Depressurise and drain the line, drill the pipe to suit the saddle port, then clamp the two halves around the pipe with the gasket seated and tighten evenly. Mount it on the top or side of a horizontal pipe run to avoid gas pockets and to keep the injector clear of sediment.

The clamp body and gasket are wear items exposed to concentrated chlorine or acid at the injection point. Inspect the seal at each service interval and replace if you see weeping, crazing of the plastic or hardening of the gasket. Also replace after any over-tightening or if the pipe wall around the drilling shows stress cracks.

Sold individually as a saddle clamp injection point, not as a complete dosing kit. The injection valve, non-return valve and dosing tubing are ordered separately if not already fitted. Order one clamp per chemical being dosed, and keep separate injection points for acid and chlorine at a safe distance apart.
