Delivering 3 m³/h at 2.7 bar and rated to a maximum working pressure of 4 bar, this compact Mini Rain MXAM 204 Pro break tank is a fully integrated rainwater harvesting station in a 10-litre PE vessel — compact enough for floor installation without a dedicated plant room. It holds BELGAQUA approval, making it a compliant choice for Belgian installations where certification is a regulatory requirement. Connections are ¾” × 1″ male thread, keeping integration with standard pipework straightforward.

Pump, controller & dry-run protection

At the heart of the unit sits a Calpeda MXAM 204 self-priming horizontal multistage pump — a single-phase 230 V motor with built-in thermal protection — paired with a Logipress pressure controller that manages the ON/OFF cycle automatically. A dry-running protector safeguards the pump if the rainwater supply runs low, at which point the integrated 3-way valve switches the system over to potable mains water so that downstream demand is never interrupted.

Backflow prevention & water quality

As a true break tank, the unit provides an air gap between the harvested rainwater circuit and the mains supply, preventing any cross-contamination and meeting the EN 1717 standard for backflow prevention in European water supply systems. This makes it suitable for supplying non-potable end uses such as toilet flushing, garden irrigation, and pool top-up, while keeping the drinking-water network fully protected.

Installation & maintenance access

The unit is designed for floor installation and arrives as a pre-assembled station, reducing on-site commissioning time. The PE tank body is corrosion-proof and the connections on both sides of the housing allow flexible pipework routing. Routine maintenance — checking valves, fittings, and the float mechanism — is made easier by the accessible tank design, ensuring long service life with minimal downtime.
