Fluidra – Filter Lid Unit for Volcano Sand Filters Ø1050–Ø2000

This is the genuine Fluidra replacement filter lid unit for the Volcano commercial sand filter series, covering tank diameters from Ø1050 mm up to Ø2000 mm. The lid provides the primary bolted closure at the top of the filter tank, maintaining a pressure-rated seal during filtration, backwash, and rinse cycles. It is sold as the lid body unit only — the sealing gasket is available separately (see part 4404260208 for the lid with gasket).

Installation

Replacement of the filter lid on a large-diameter commercial sand filter should be carried out by a qualified pool technician. Ensure the mating flange face is clean and undamaged, fit a new lid gasket (sold separately), and torque the retaining bolts evenly in a cross pattern to the manufacturer’s specified value.
