Rated at 0.75 kW (1 HP) with a maximum head of 13.8 m and 2″ female threaded connections on both inlet and outlet, the DAB EUROSWIM 75MIE2 is a single-phase, 230 V self-priming centrifugal pump designed for water circulation and filtration in residential swimming pools. The IE2-classified motor draws just 3.8 A, balancing reliable performance with energy-conscious running costs. Self-priming capability of up to 2 m (without a check valve) simplifies installation where the pump sits above the water line.

Hydraulic performance & priming

The EUROSWIM 75MIE2 delivers a maximum flow across the range with a peak head of 13.8 m, making it well suited to small-to-medium residential pools with moderate pipework resistance. The pump is self-priming to 2 m, meaning it can be positioned above the waterline without requiring an inline check valve — a practical advantage during equipment-room layouts. Both suction and discharge ports are 2″ female threaded, matching standard European pool pipework directly.

Wetted materials & salt-water compatibility

The pump body, impeller, and diffuser are moulded from fibreglass-reinforced technopolymer, offering strong resistance to corrosion, chlorine, bromine, and salt. The mechanical seal is a carbon/alumina assembly with AISI 316 stainless-steel components, making the pump fully compatible with salt-electrolysis systems at up to 35 g/litre as well as pools treated with PHMB or traditional chlorine. The transparent polycarbonate prefilter cover allows basket inspection without tools, and butterfly fill and drain plugs require no spanner to remove.

Motor & electrical protection

The two-pole single-phase asynchronous motor carries IE2 efficiency classification and is rated for continuous S1 duty at 230 V / 50 Hz. A built-in thermoamperometric protector guards against overload without requiring manual reset in most cases, and the die-cast aluminium housing with cataphoresis surface treatment provides long-term corrosion resistance in damp plant-room environments. IP55 motor protection and Class F insulation complete the specification for outdoor or semi-exposed installations.
