Rated to a robust 64 bar working pressure and sized at 2½” (DN65), this Profec two-piece ball valve is built for demanding commercial and industrial pipework — including high-flow pool plant rooms, water treatment systems, and saltwater or chemically dosed circuits. The full 316 stainless steel body offers superior resistance to chlorides and corrosive pool chemicals, while PTFE seats provide a reliable, leak-free shut-off across a wide temperature range of −10 °C to +150 °C.

Body construction & corrosion resistance

Manufactured entirely from grade 316 stainless steel — an alloy that contains molybdenum for enhanced resistance to chlorides, acids, and saline environments — this valve is well suited to pool plant rooms where aggressive sanitising chemicals circulate continuously. The two-piece body design means the valve can be disassembled for seat inspection or replacement without removing the end connections from the pipework, keeping maintenance downtime to a minimum.

Lever operation & sealing

A simple quarter-turn of the stainless steel lever opens or closes the valve completely, giving instant visual confirmation of flow status. The blue-coded lever makes it straightforward to identify this valve within a busy manifold. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) seats and seals deliver chemical inertness and low friction across the full operating temperature range, ensuring a consistent, bubble-tight shut-off cycle after cycle.
