Rated to a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar (PN16) at an outer diameter of 50 mm with a 4.6 mm wall thickness, this SDR11 PE100 pressure pipe is supplied as a ready-to-lay 100-metre coil — sufficient for most mid-size pool plant-room to equipment-pad runs in a single length. The black body with blue identification stripe meets DVGW certification, confirming suitability for potable and pressurised water systems across European installations.

Manufactured from PE100 high-density polyethylene, the pipe achieves its 16 bar pressure rating through the SDR11 geometry, where the outside diameter is exactly eleven times the nominal wall thickness. PE100 grade material offers enhanced stress-crack resistance and long-term hydrostatic strength compared with earlier PE80 grades, making it well suited to the continuous pump pressures found in pool circulation, geothermal and irrigation pipework. The well-dispersed carbon black pigment also provides effective UV resistance for any above-ground sections of a run.

Jointing & installation flexibility

Plain (spigot) ends are compatible with the full range of electrofusion fittings, butt-welding, and mechanical compression fittings — giving installers freedom to choose the jointing method that best suits site conditions. The coiled format simplifies trench-laying and open-cut installation, and the pipe can also be used for no-dig or pipe-rehabilitation techniques where the route allows. A temperature working range of approximately –50 °C to +60 °C (subject to pressure de-rating at elevated temperatures) ensures year-round reliability in Northern European climates.
