At DN140 with a 125/140 mm pipe outside diameter and a 210 mm pitch circle diameter (PCD), this is one of the larger lever-operated butterfly valves in the Hydro-S type 7500 range — well suited to high-volume flow isolation on commercial pool plant rooms, water parks, and large-diameter circulation pipework. The PVC-U body and disc withstand up to 10 bar (PN10) at temperatures between 0 °C and 40 °C, making it a dependable choice for year-round pool and water treatment installations across Europe.

Materials & seal integrity

The valve body and disc are manufactured in unplasticised PVC (PVC-U), which offers excellent resistance to chlorinated water and common pool chemicals without corroding or adding contamination to the circuit. The glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene (PP GF) housing adds structural rigidity to the body, while the EPDM elastomer seat ensures a reliable, low-leakage seal across the rated pressure and temperature range. The steel spindle transmits lever torque cleanly without flex.

Connections follow the standard PN10 flange bolt pattern, allowing straightforward mating to DIN-compliant pipework and equipment flanges — a format widely used on European pool plant. The face-to-face length (W-1) is 63 mm and the overall radius (R) is 258 mm, so sufficient installation clearance should be confirmed in the plant room before ordering. The blue lever provides a clear visual cue that the valve is in pool-service duty and enables quick quarter-turn open/close operation without additional tooling.
