Flotide – Heat Pump Inverter ABS horizontal 9.0 kW 50mm

With a peak heating capacity of 9.0 kW at A27/W27 and an exceptional COP of up to 10.0 under the same conditions, the Flotide Inver 9/32 is engineered for pools of 25–45 m³ that demand serious efficiency from a compact, single-phase unit. The inverter-driven Gree compressor modulates output continuously — from 9.0 kW down to 2.4 kW — rather than cycling on and off, so the unit keeps water temperature rock-steady while drawing as little as 0.36 kW at part load. Running on standard 230 V / 50 Hz and connecting via a 50 mm fitting, it integrates cleanly with most existing European pool plant rooms.

COP & seasonal efficiency

At the cooler A15/W25 test condition — a realistic spring or autumn day — the Inver 9/32 still returns a COP of 4.1–6.0, earning it an Energy Label A rating. R32 refrigerant gives this unit a lower global-warming potential than the older R410A still found in many competitors, while the inverter’s variable-speed operation reduces both noise and running costs compared with traditional on/off heat pumps — compressor and fan speeds adjust automatically to match actual heat demand.

Titanium condenser & housing

The water-side heat exchanger is titanium, making it fully resistant to chlorinated and salt-treated pool water without risk of corrosion over time. The outer casing is impact-resistant ABS — lightweight relative to metal-clad units and well-suited to the damp, UV-exposed conditions of a poolside installation. At 888 × 360 × 618 mm with horizontal air discharge, the unit can be positioned close to a wall or fence where vertical-discharge models would require clear overhead space.

Installation und Anschluss

The horizontal air-discharge layout gives installers greater flexibility in tight plant rooms or side-passage locations. Water connects via 50 mm fittings directly into the circulation loop, and at a nominal flow of 4 m³/h the unit works in step with standard pool circulation pumps. At 54 kg the unit requires two people or mechanical handling for final placement, and a qualified electrician should make the 230 V single-phase supply connection.
