Delivering 140 W of low-pressure UV-C output through a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) reactor, this VGE Pro system is engineered for demanding professional pool and water-treatment installations where corrosion resistance is essential. The Control Monitor control unit adds a colour display and UV-sensor input, giving operators real-time oversight of treatment performance at the push of a button. HDPE reactor construction

The irradiation chamber is moulded from HDPE — a material specifically chosen because it withstands both aggressive water chemistry (including seawater and chlorinated pool water) and the corrosive effect of UV-C radiation itself. Each unit is leak-tested before dispatch and fitted with transparent inspection windows so the lamp status can be confirmed without opening the reactor.

Lamp technology & Control Monitor

A low-pressure amalgam lamp delivers consistent UV-C output regardless of water temperature, with a rated service life of up to 16,000 hours. The patented Smart Pin Technology (SPT) allows the lamp to be replaced safely while the system remains pressurised and water-filled — no need to drain the circuit or disconnect the electrical supply. The Control Monitor unit features a colour display, supports connection of an optional UV-C sensor, and incorporates built-in alarm and warning functions for loss of flow or abnormal operating conditions.

Installation & integration

With a 110 mm connection size and a design that accommodates both horizontal and vertical pipe orientations, the unit integrates cleanly into existing plant-room pipework.
