Sta-Rite Silent Block (Amortidor de vibracions del motor) — 5P4R / SW5P4R (C35-43)

Silent block / motor vibration damper for the Sta-Rite 5P4R / SW5P4R pool pumps. Sits between the motor mounting and the pump base, and its whole job is to absorb the low-frequency hum of the running motor before it transmits into the pool-room floor and the surrounding plumbing.

A hardened silent block sends motor noise through the whole pool room — if the pump has suddenly gotten noisy without any bearing symptoms, silent blocks are the first suspect. Replace all 4 blocks as a set: mixing new and old blocks under one motor creates uneven damping and can crack the base.
