Junta de gas de Sta-Rite Housing — Sta-Rite Swimtec (C69-2)

Housing gasket for the Sta-Rite Sta-Rite Swimtec pool pump range. This gasket seals the joint between the pump body (volute) and the seal-plate flange — one of the two static seals in the pump, and always the one that leaks first after the mechanical seal itself gives up.

Standard service item on every seal job. A compressed gasket that’s given faithful service for 3 pool seasons will NOT reseal against a new seal plate — the elastomer takes a permanent set, and reusing it wastes the new seal + your service window. Order one with every mechanical seal.

Install dry (no grease) into a clean, dry groove; grease attracts sand and eventually kills the seal. Torque the seal-plate bolts in a cross pattern to the OEM spec — over-torque cuts the gasket and undoes the whole install.
