Each 0.950-litre bottle of Elbe Liquid Liner delivers enough liquid PVC seam sealant to treat approximately 47 linear metres of welding seam at the recommended application rate of 20 g per metre — making it a practical single-unit supply for a full-sized pool installation or renovation. The black colourway is matched to dark and black ELBE Pool Surface® reinforced membranes, ensuring seams cure to an unobtrusive, colour-consistent finish. Supplied in a convenient capillary bottle format ready for direct application along the seam edge.

Seam sealing & cure chemistry

Elbe Liquid Liner is a liquid PVC solution — PVC dry blend dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (THF) — specifically formulated to seal the welding seams of reinforced pool membranes. Once applied, the solvent flashes off on contact with air, leaving a solid, homogeneous PVC bond that is chemically and mechanically compatible with the parent membrane material. The surface to be treated must be dry, clean, and free of dust and grease before application.

Compatibility & professional use

Designed exclusively for use with ELBE Pool Surface® reinforced membranes, this sealant is a standard consumable in professional pool installation and renovation workflows. Applied via polyethylene capillary bottle along the seam edge, it integrates seamlessly into the heat-welding process and is suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects across private and commercial pools. If the sealant thickens over time, it can be restored by adding Elbe expanding welding agent.

Storage & handling

THF-based sealants are highly volatile and flammable — store upright in a cool, well-ventilated area away from ignition sources, and ensure the cap is replaced immediately after use to prevent premature curing or evaporation.
