Pentair lateral / manifold arm for Tagelus/Triton/Poseidon ClearPro 40 - R301904CP
Pentair lateral / manifold arm for Tagelus/Triton/Poseidon ClearPro 40 – R301904CP
The Pentair R301904CP lateral (manifold arm) is a genuine replacement collector used in the lower manifold of selected Pentair sand filters. It supports even water distribution during filtration and helps retain the filter media inside the tank. Replacing a cracked or worn lateral is essential if you notice sand returning to the pool, reduced filtration quality or unusual pressure behaviour.
- Genuine Pentair lateral / manifold arm for the lower collector assembly.
- Compatible with Tagelus, Triton and Poseidon ClearPro 40 systems using this collector type.
- Sold individually (Order the required quantity for your manifold).
What this lateral does
Laterals sit at the bottom of the filter tank and form the “collector” that gathers filtered water and routes it back to the return line. The slotted design keeps sand or glass media inside the filter while allowing clean water through. When a lateral breaks or becomes distorted, media can bypass the filtration stage and end up back in the pool, often together with a noticeable drop in water clarity.
Compatibility and selection tips
This lateral is intended for Pentair Tagelus, Triton and Poseidon ClearPro 40 sand filters that use the R301904CP collector format. Always confirm the exact model on the filter data plate and compare the existing lateral shape/connection type before ordering. If one lateral has failed, it is wise to inspect the full manifold and standpipe for stress or cracks.
Installation notes
Switch off the pump and fully depressurise the filter. Drain the tank to a safe level, remove the multiport valve or top assembly as required and access the manifold. Replace the damaged lateral, ensure the manifold is seated correctly, and reassemble with clean sealing surfaces. After refilling with the correct media, backwash and rinse before returning to filtration.
