The Pentair RBASEUNI1 baseplate is a genuine replacement support base for selected Pentair sand filters. It is designed to stabilise the filter tank, keep the unit level in the technical room and provide proper support to the vessel over time. Replacing a damaged or cracked baseplate helps prevent unwanted vibration, alignment issues and stress on the tank and pipework.

What this baseplate is used for

The baseplate sits under the filter tank and acts as the structural support for the complete filter assembly. If the base becomes worn, deformed or broken, the tank may sit unevenly, which can cause vibration and put extra mechanical load on connections and valves. A correct baseplate restores safe, stable positioning of the filter.

This baseplate is intended for Pentair sand filters in the 19″ and 24″ size range that use the corresponding base design, including Cristal-Flo, Pantera, Tagelus and Triton versions. Always confirm your filter size (19″ or 24″) and the existing part reference before ordering. This item replaces SG-15-4520.

Installation notes

Before replacement, switch off the pump, isolate the installation and drain the filter if needed. Support the tank safely, remove the damaged baseplate and transfer any mounting hardware if applicable. Position the new baseplate on a solid, level surface and re-align the filter before reconnecting or tightening pipework.
