The AstralPool Clear Series check valve Ø 63 is a transparent non return valve for swimming pool hydraulic circuits. Its clear body and lid give full visibility of the internal flap so you can immediately see whether water is flowing and if the valve is open or closed, which makes inspection and troubleshooting much easier in compact plant rooms.

Full flap opening with low pressure loss

The Clear Series design uses a wide opening flap that requires only minimal pressure to move to the open position. Once open, the flap lifts fully out of the flow path so the valve causes very little head loss in the line. This helps to keep pump priming reliable and maintains the efficiency of the filtration, heater and other connected equipment, even when the valve is installed on main lines with high flow rates.

The AstralPool Clear Series check valve Ø 63 is manufactured with a fully transparent PVC body and clear lid so the flap and internal flow are visible from any angle. This 360 degree visibility lets you instantly confirm whether water is moving in the correct direction, and makes it easy to detect air pockets, dirt or partial obstructions without dismantling the valve.

Because the housing also acts as a sight glass, the valve is particularly useful on suction and return lines where visual confirmation of flow is important, such as between the pump and filter, before a heat pump or after special treatment equipment.

Easy, tool free maintenance

The Clear Series concept is built around quick access to internal components. The top lid is secured with a large threaded ring that can be unscrewed by hand, without tools. Once opened, the flap, spring and sealing elements are accessible for cleaning or replacement, which keeps maintenance time to a minimum.

The valve is designed for a maximum working pressure of 3.5 bar within a typical operating temperature range of 10 to 30 °C when used in swimming pool systems. This combination of robust construction and corrosion resistance ensures long service life in both residential and small commercial pools.

Installation options and typical uses

With Ø 63 mm connections and a compact body, this check valve is suited for medium and large pipework where backflow must be prevented.
