The Profec Pulse Reader is a compact magnetic or reed-switch sensor designed to detect and transmit pulse signals from compatible flow meters and water meters. Operating at 24 VDC, it converts each unit of flow into a clean electrical pulse that can be read by PLCs, irrigation controllers, dosing systems, or building-management systems. The 1.5 m pre-fitted cable gives installers immediate working reach without additional splicing at the sensor head, keeping connections tidy and reducing potential fault points in wet environments.

The sensor body is moulded from a robust black polymer and features a low-profile mounting foot with a through-hole for direct screw fixing onto a meter body or pipe fitting. The three-core cable — identified by yellow, green, and red conductors — allows straightforward wiring to power, ground, and signal terminals on any standard 24 VDC control panel. No additional interface module is required for most industrial and pool-plant controllers.
