This is the genuine Fluidra replacement 2″ drain plug (sand purge) for the AstralPool Berlin bobbin-wound sand filter with a Ø900 mm tank and a 30,000 l/h flow rating. Fitted at the base of the filter vessel, it allows controlled draining of water and evacuation of filter sand during maintenance or winterisation — an essential component for safe, complete servicing of the filter.

Compatibility

This drain plug is designed specifically for the Fluidra AstralPool Berlin series sand filter with a Ø900 mm diameter tank and 2½” side connections, rated at 30,000 l/h without an integrated multiport valve. Always cross-reference your filter’s model number and the part number before ordering to ensure a correct fit. It is not intended for smaller Berlin filter diameters (Ø500–Ø750 mm) or other filter ranges.
