Fluidra – Inlet Assembly for Delta Filter Ø1000–1200 mm

This is the genuine Fluidra replacement inlet assembly for the Delta Filter 1000–1200 series, designed for the large-diameter Ø1000 mm and Ø1200 mm tank models. It directs incoming pool water into the filter vessel and distributes it evenly across the sand bed to ensure consistent, high-performance filtration. Replacing a worn or damaged inlet assembly restores correct hydraulic flow and protects filter efficiency.

Compatibility

This inlet assembly is a direct OEM replacement for Fluidra Delta Filter 1000–1200 units fitted with Ø1000 mm and Ø1200 mm tanks (filter model references 36678, 36679, 36682 and 36683). It is not interchangeable with the smaller Ø650 mm or Ø800 mm Delta Filter variants, which use a different assembly. Always verify your filter’s tank diameter and model reference before ordering.

The Delta Filter range is a commercial-grade, fibreglass-laminated sand filter rated to a maximum working pressure of 2.5 bar and compliant with EN 16713-1 filtration standards. Genuine Fluidra parts are manufactured to the same tolerances as the original, ensuring a leak-free fit and full compatibility with the filter’s EPDM gaskets and PVC/PP/ABS internal pipework. Non-genuine substitutes risk misalignment, hydraulic losses and premature seal failure under operating pressure.

Installation

Installation requires draining and depressurising the filter tank before removing the existing inlet assembly. Access is gained via the filter’s DN 400 bolt-down lid on the 1000 and 1200 mm models. We recommend having a qualified pool technician carry out the replacement to ensure correct torque on all fittings and a pressure-tested seal before returning the system to service.
