The Salinity Control Kit enables continuous monitoring of the salt concentration in your pool water and feeds this information to the Hayward NG controller. Maintaining the correct salt level — typically 3–5 g/l depending on the chlorinator model — is essential for efficient electrolysis and long cell life. Too low and chlorine production drops; too high and scaling and corrosion risk increases.
