Pentair Triton NEO Bulkhead – Reference RTTBHD

The Pentair RTTBHD Bulkhead is the genuine replacement bulkhead fitting for Triton NEO sand filters. The bulkhead is the threaded fitting moulded into the side or base of the filter tank that provides the connection point for the drain outlet. A watertight bulkhead seal is critical — any failure here results in a leak at the tank wall, causing water loss and potential damage to the surrounding plant room or installation area.

Watertight Tank Penetration

The RTTBHD is designed with a flat flange and integrated O-ring seat that compresses against the inside of the tank wall when tightened, creating a reliable, long-lasting watertight seal. It is manufactured from chemical-resistant polymer that remains stable in contact with chlorinated water, salt, and pool treatment chemicals.

Straightforward Replacement

Replacing a failed bulkhead requires draining the filter tank and unscrewing the old fitting. The new RTTBHD is installed with a fresh O-ring seal (included) and hand-tightened, then checked for leaks before returning the filter to service.
