How Salt Electrolysis Works

A low-voltage DC current passes through titanium electrode plates submerged in the salt-water, splitting sodium chloride into hypochlorous acid — the active disinfectant. The acid sanitises the water then reverts back to salt, making the process continuous, self-sustaining and far gentler on swimmers than traditional chlorine dosing.
