The F980002 is a standard T5 UV-C replacement lamp with 40W output and a 4-pin Base F connector. It is the go-to replacement for a wide range of pool and pond UV-C disinfection units that use the T5 tube format with Base F termination.
Reliable UV-C Disinfection at 40W
The 40W output is suited to smaller pools and ponds up to approximately 40 m³. The lamp emits UV-C light at the germicidal 254 nm wavelength, effectively neutralising bacteria, viruses and free-floating algae in the water.
Standard Replacement Interval
Replace every 8,000–9,000 hours (approximately one year of continuous operation). Even when the lamp still lights up, UV-C output has typically degraded below the effective disinfection threshold after this period.
