Rated to 30 bar and up to 120 °C, this compact 40 mm brass hose tail adaptor transitions a 3/8″ BSP male thread directly to a 15 mm barbed hose tail — making it equally suited to pool plant-room pipework, chemical dosing lines, and pressurised irrigation circuits. The solid-brass body resists corrosion and mechanical stress in the demanding, chemically active environments common around pool and spa installations.

The 3/8″ male BSP thread engages standard female ports on pumps, dosing heads, filters, and manifolds, while the 15 mm barbed tail retains flexible hose securely without additional clamp slippage — particularly useful where vibration from running pumps is a factor. An 18 mm spanner flat across the hex body allows controlled tightening without risk of over-torquing the fitting.

With a 30 bar working pressure ceiling and a maximum service temperature of 120 °C, this adaptor well exceeds the operating parameters of domestic and light-commercial pool circuits, providing a meaningful safety margin for pressurised chemical dosing systems or heat-pump interconnects where brief temperature spikes occur.

Machined from solid brass, the adaptor offers inherent resistance to dezincification and general corrosion, keeping it serviceable over long maintenance cycles. Its compact 40 mm installed length minimises protrusion in confined plant rooms or tight manifold assemblies where space is at a premium.
