This is the genuine Hydro-Pro driver board (part reference HMD4W-3P22, board ID IBQ050TR4A) for the Hydro-Pro Type Z Inverter swimming pool heat pump range running on R410A refrigerant. The driver board is the core power-electronics component that controls the inverter compressor, regulating variable-speed operation and energy efficiency. It is an essential replacement part when the existing board shows fault codes, fails to drive the compressor, or is damaged.

This driver board is designed specifically for the Hydro-Pro Type Z Inverter heat pump series (including the Z24T/R410A and Z29T/R410A models operating on 400 V three-phase supply). Always verify your heat pump’s model number and existing board reference against HMD4W-3P22 / IBQ050TR4A before ordering, as Hydro-Pro produces multiple board variants for different models and refrigerant types.

As the component that manages inverter frequency and compressor output, a counterfeit or incorrect driver board can cause unreliable heating, compressor damage, or complete unit failure. Sourcing a genuine Hydro-Pro part ensures correct firmware calibration, safe operating parameters, and continued manufacturer support for your heat pump installation.

Replacement of the driver board involves working inside the electrical enclosure of the heat pump and must be carried out by a qualified technician familiar with inverter heat pump systems. Isolate all power supplies before commencing work and refer to the Hydro-Pro Type Z service manual for the correct wiring and reassembly procedure.
