The Sta-Rite R070387 is a genuine OEM replacement strainer basket designed specifically for WhisperFlo and IntelliFlo series pool pumps, including the Sta-Rite WhisperPro S5P5R. Positioned inside the pump’s pre-filter housing, it captures leaves, debris, and other contaminants before they can reach the pump’s wet end, protecting internal hydraulic components and maintaining optimal water flow.

This basket fits a wide range of Pentair and Sta-Rite pump models, including WhisperFlo (WF, WFE, AQ/WF AQ), IntelliFlo i1 VS, IntelliFlo VS 3050, IntelliFlo VF, IntelliFlo VS+SVRS, and Sta-Rite IntelliPro VS+SVRS pumps. Always verify your pump model before ordering to ensure correct fitment.

As a factory-original Pentair part, this basket is manufactured to precise dimensional tolerances — ensuring a secure, rattle-free fit within the strainer housing. Genuine OEM construction guarantees compatibility and longevity, helping to protect your pump’s internal components and maintain consistent filtration performance season after season.

Always switch off and isolate power to the pump before servicing. Remove the strainer lid, lift out the old basket, drop in the new one, and refit the lid — no tools required. It is recommended to inspect and clean the basket at least once a week, or more frequently when heavy debris loads are present, to prevent flow restriction and pump strain.
