This is the genuine Davey replacement cartridge support for the CrystalClear 100 sq ft cartridge filter (model 39100 / EC1000). The cartridge support is the internal structural component that holds the pleated filter element correctly seated and centred inside the filter tank, ensuring proper water flow through the element during filtration. It should be replaced whenever it is cracked, warped, or no longer holds the cartridge firmly in position.

This cartridge support is designed specifically for the Davey CrystalClear 100 sq ft cartridge filter — a compact, single-element filter rated for a maximum flow rate of 340 lpm and suited to small and medium-sized swimming pools. Always verify your filter model and the Davey part number Q2342SP before ordering to ensure an exact fit; this support is not interchangeable with the 75 sq ft, 150 sq ft, or larger CrystalClear variants.

Using a genuine Davey part guarantees dimensional accuracy and material compatibility with your filter’s ABS tank and locking-ring assembly. An ill-fitting or aftermarket support can allow the cartridge element to shift under pressure, bypass unfiltered water back to the pool, or cause premature wear to the element itself. Sourcing direct from an authorised Davey stockist like poolparthub.com ensures you receive the correct OEM component.

Before servicing, always depressurise the filter using the manual air bleed valve and isolate the pump. Remove the top-side lock ring to access the tank interior, lift out the cartridge element, and swap the damaged support for the new one before reinserting the element. No special tools are required, but consulting the CrystalClear installation and service manual is recommended to confirm correct reassembly torque and orientation.
