This is the complete pre-filter basket lid assembly for the Davey StarFlo DSF pool pump series. The kit contains all three components needed to restore a secure, leak-free seal on the pump’s pre-filter housing: the lid cover, the locking ring, and the O-ring. Replacing the full set at once ensures proper fitment and prevents recurring leaks or air ingestion caused by worn individual parts.

Designed to fit the Davey StarFlo single-phase pumps DSF150, DSF200, DSF250, DSF300, and DSF420 — including the CE-marked variants (e.g. DSF300CE, DSF420CE) sold exclusively in Europe — as well as the 3-phase models DSF3003F and DSF4203F. Always cross-reference your pump’s model label with the Davey spares diagram before ordering.

As a genuine Davey spare part (Davey part number 33154SP), this lid set is manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original components. Aftermarket alternatives often result in poor sealing, premature O-ring failure, or a locking ring that does not engage correctly — any of which can allow air into the system, reducing pump performance and potentially causing cavitation damage.

The lid set should be replaced when you notice water leaking from the pre-filter housing, difficulty seating or tightening the locking ring, visible cracks in the cover, or a perished and flattened O-ring. Replacing all three components together rather than just the O-ring is best practice during any lid-off service visit, ensuring the assembly returns to factory condition.
