This is the genuine Fluidra replacement run capacitor for the Baracuda Aquantis Max 150M pool pump motor. Rated at 25 microfarads and 450 volts, it is a critical electrical component that enables the single-phase motor to start and run efficiently by creating the necessary phase shift in the current. Replacing a failed or degraded capacitor restores proper motor torque and prevents no-start or overheating faults.

This capacitor is the OEM-specified spare part for the Baracuda Aquantis Max 150M pump, manufactured by Fluidra. Always verify your pump’s motor rating plate before ordering — capacitance (µF) and voltage rating must match exactly to avoid motor damage or failure to start.

Using a genuine Fluidra capacitor guarantees that the component meets the original electrical tolerances and thermal ratings specified for the Aquantis Max motor. Off-specification substitutes can cause motor hum, overheating, premature failure, or void your pump warranty. The 450V rating provides a comfortable safety margin above normal mains voltage to handle transient line surges.

Capacitors store an electrical charge and must be safely discharged before handling — this work should be carried out by a qualified electrician or pool technician. Isolate the pump from the mains supply, discharge the old capacitor using an appropriate resistor, then swap in the new unit and verify all terminals are secure before restoring power.
