Rated at up to 15 l/h with a maximum back-pressure of 6 bar, the Seko Kronos KRFM-2 is a high-pressure peristaltic dosing pump designed for precise chemical treatment in pools and water-treatment installations up to 1,000 m³. Running on 230 VAC and fitted with a stepper motor, it achieves virtually silent operation below 35 dB while maintaining exceptional dosing accuracy — from as little as 2 ml/h right up to its full rated flow.

Stepper motor & dosing precision

At the heart of the KRFM-2 is a stepper motor that allows infinitely adjustable flow from 0.01% to 100% of capacity, eliminating the coarse stepping found in conventional peristaltic pumps. Proportional dosing via an analogue 4–20 mA or digital pulse signal means the pump can track water flow in real time and adjust chemical output accordingly — essential for consistent pH correction, coagulant addition, or PAC dosing in large commercial pools.

Chemical compatibility & tube technology

The KRFM-2 operates with a SEKOTECH squeeze tube, selected specifically for high-pressure duty at 6 bar and compatibility with aggressive pool chemicals. Because the chemical contacts only the tube and not the pump mechanism, cross-contamination is eliminated and maintenance is limited to periodic tube replacement — no seals, valves, or diaphragms to service. An integrated pipe-breakage alarm detects internal leaks and halts dosing automatically to protect the installation.

Suitability & installation

With a maximum rated pool volume of 1,000 m³, the Kronos KRFM-2 is sized for large public pools, water parks, and industrial water-treatment circuits where small diaphragm pumps cannot achieve the required back-pressure. The 230 VAC power supply is compatible with standard European single-phase supplies, and the compact Kronos housing is designed for wall mounting in plant-room conditions, including humid or chemically aggressive environments.
