Supplied as a full 200-metre coil, this 40 mm OD × 3.0 mm wall PE40 pipe is rated to 4 bar continuous working pressure — sufficient for virtually all domestic and light-commercial pool plant-room duties including pump outlet runs, filter connections, and underground supply lines. The 34 mm internal bore keeps flow resistance low across the typical filtration flow rates associated with pools up to around 100 m³. Maximum operating temperature is 35 °C, making it well suited to standard (non-heated) pool circuits and cold-water supply applications.
Material & flexibility
PE40 is a low-density polyethylene grade that combines good chemical resistance — unaffected by chlorinated pool water, salt, and common pool chemicals — with the flexibility needed to follow gentle bends and changes in direction without the need for additional elbow fittings.
