Davey - Modul de filtrare StarFlo VS (VSD) - 404221SP

Davey – StarFlo VS Filter Module (VSD)

The Davey Filter Module VSD (part 404221SP) is a genuine OEM replacement filter module for the Davey StarFlo VS variable-speed pool pump series. It forms the pre-filter strainer section of the pump’s wet end, trapping debris before water reaches the impeller and protecting the pump’s internal components from damage.

Compatibilitate

This part is designed specifically for the Davey StarFlo VS variable-speed pump range — the variable-speed drive (VSD) variant — as sold across Europe. The StarFlo VS is suitable for in-ground and above-ground pools up to 104,000 litres, as well as large swim spas, plunge pools, and solar heating systems. Always verify your pump’s model number before ordering, as this module is not interchangeable with single-speed StarFlo DSF series parts.

De ce autenticitatea contează

Using a genuine Davey replacement ensures the filter module seats and seals correctly within the pump casing, maintaining the hydraulic integrity and energy efficiency that the StarFlo VS variable-speed drive is engineered to deliver. Third-party alternatives may not match Davey’s tolerances, risking leaks, reduced flow, or premature wear. Sourcing the part with the correct Davey part number (404221SP) guarantees an exact fit.

Când trebuie înlocuit

The filter module should be inspected regularly and replaced if the housing shows cracking, warping, or loss of seal integrity — typically noticed through air ingestion, reduced flow, or visible leaks at the pump head. Replacement is a routine part of scheduled pump servicing and is often carried out alongside impeller or seal maintenance.
