Davey – Silensor / SilensorPro Pump Diffuser

The Davey Diffuser (part number 13438) is a genuine OEM replacement diffuser designed for the Davey Silensor and SilensorPro series of pool pumps, covering both SLS and SLL model variants. The diffuser sits inside the pump’s front casing and plays a critical role in converting impeller velocity into pressure, ensuring efficient water flow through your filtration system. It is typically replaced when inspection reveals distortion, cracking, or wear that reduces pump performance.

Compatibilitate

This diffuser is compatible with the Davey Silensor SLS and SLL pump ranges, as well as the SilensorPro variable-speed series — pumps used widely in residential pool filtration, water features, heating systems, and saltwater pools across single and three-phase configurations. Always verify your pump’s model number against the data label before ordering to ensure the correct fit.

Function & Replacement

Located inside the front casing, the diffuser works together with the impeller to direct and pressurise water flow through the pump. During routine servicing it should be removed and checked for distortion, and the associated O-ring inspected at the same time. When lubricating the O-ring, use a silicone-compatible lubricant such as Hydro Slip — never petroleum-based products like Vaseline, which can cause rubber components to swell and degrade.

De ce autenticitatea contează

Using a genuine Davey replacement part ensures the diffuser meets the exact dimensional and material tolerances of the original component, maintaining the pump’s rated hydraulic efficiency and protecting the integrity of surrounding parts. Counterfeit or aftermarket diffusers risk poor fitment, premature failure, and may void your Davey warranty.
