AstralPool – Vertical Partial Filter Grid PG-1904 48 ft² 24″

This is the genuine AstralPool replacement partial (small) vertical filter grid for 48 ft² diatomaceous earth (DE) filters. Identified as position 18 in the official Fluidra exploded view diagram, it is the single partial grid that completes a full 48 ft² grid assembly alongside seven full FG-1004 grids. The grid holds the diatomaceous earth media against which pool water is filtered, removing particles down to around 10 microns.

Compatibilitate

This partial grid is designed for the AstralPool 24-36-48-60-Yellow Diatomaceous Earth (DE) Filter range (parent model FDE48). It measures 24″ (approx. 61 cm) in height and pairs with the full-size FG-1004 grids to form a complete 48 ft² filter grid set. Always cross-reference your filter’s exploded view diagram (position 18) and model number before ordering.

Instalare

Replacement of the partial grid should be carried out with the pump switched off and the filter fully depressurised. The grid slots into the filter manifold at position 18 and must be seated correctly before the filter head is reassembled and the system is recharged with fresh diatomaceous earth media.
