This is the genuine AstralPool replacement manifold assembly designed for AstralPool sand filters with a 500 mm tank diameter. The manifold sits inside the filter vessel and is the heart of the filtration process — its collector arms distribute incoming water evenly across the filter bed and gather filtered water for return to the pool, while the slotted arms retain the filter media (sand or glass) within the vessel.

Cum funcționează

Water entering the filter passes down through the filter media bed, where particles are captured. The manifold’s collector arms, fitted with fine slots, collect the now-filtered water from below the media bed and channel it out through the return line. During backwash cycles, flow is reversed through the same manifold, loosening trapped debris so it can be expelled to waste. A correctly functioning manifold is essential to prevent filter media from escaping into your pool.
