This is the genuine Pentair OEM impeller rated at 0.75 kW (1 HP), listed as part R39005100 in the official UltraFlow Plus spare-parts catalogue. Mounted on the motor shaft inside the pump’s wet end, it is the rotating component responsible for drawing water through the strainer basket and driving it through the filtration circuit at the rated flow rate of 18 m³/h.

The impeller converts motor torque directly into hydraulic flow. As it spins, its vane geometry accelerates water from the suction inlet and discharges it under pressure towards the filter. A worn or damaged impeller reduces flow rate, extends filtration cycles, and forces the motor to run harder — symptoms that typically appear long before the pump fails outright. Replacing the impeller restores the pump to its factory flow curve without touching the motor or housing.

R39005100 is confirmed across the full UltraFlow and UltraFlow Plus range rated at 0.75 kW: models P-UFL-101 (single-phase) and P-UFL-103 (three-phase). French parts distributor data also cross-references models P-UFL-071, P-UFL-073, P-UFL-151, P-UFL-153, P-UFL-201, P-UFL-203, P-UFL-301, and P-UFL-303. Verify your pump’s model plate before ordering — the 0.75 kW impeller is not interchangeable with the 0.55 kW (R39005000) or 1.10 kW variants.

Reduced filtration flow rate, persistent low-pressure readings at the filter gauge, and abnormal vibration or noise from the pump wet end all point to impeller wear. Cavitation damage — visible as pitting on the vane faces — and cracks from debris ingestion are the most common physical failures. If you see any of these, inspect the mechanical seal at the same time: impeller contact wear often damages the seal face.

Isolate the pump electrically and close the suction and return valves before starting. Remove the stainless-steel locking clamp, lift off the motor block, and unscrew the impeller lock screw (Pentair part R39009900, sold separately) whilst holding the shaft stationary. Fit the new impeller, torque the lock screw finger-tight plus a quarter-turn, and inspect the mechanical seal before reassembly. Total job time is approximately 20 minutes with basic hand tools.
