Delivering 12 l/min at 3 bar through a front-serviceable brass valve, the La Buvette F11 is a heavy-duty cast iron drinking bowl engineered for cattle and horse watering in stall and stable environments. The horizontal stainless steel paddle activates water flow with minimal effort from the animal, making it suitable for a wide range of livestock from young cattle to horses. With a track record spanning nearly 40 years in European livestock operations, this is a fixture-grade waterer built for the demands of daily agricultural use.

The brass valve on the F11 is designed for front removal without disassembling the bowl from the wall, making routine maintenance and replacement straightforward even in tight stall conditions. The unit ships fitted with a red-jet restrictor suited to mains pressures up to 4 bar (13 l/min); for lower-pressure gravity-fed systems, alternative valve inserts are available as spare parts from La Buvette’s extensive accessories range.

The bowl body is cast from durable cast iron, chosen for its resistance to the mechanical knocks and abrasion typical of livestock housing. Four fixing points ensure a stable, rattle-free wall mount that resists the lateral forces animals exert during drinking. The ¾” (20×27) threaded inlet connection is the European agricultural standard, compatible with common stall pipework without the need for reducing adaptors.

The horizontal stainless steel paddle is hygienic, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean, maintaining water quality between drinking bouts. The paddle-valve design is instinctively operated by cattle and horses and requires only light contact pressure to open, reducing the risk of animals avoiding the drinker due to excessive trigger resistance. This F11 configuration — horizontal paddle, cast iron body — is La Buvette’s long-established benchmark model for single-animal stall watering.
