This is the genuine OEM titanium heat exchanger designed as a direct replacement for the Hydro-Pro Type P On/Off heat pump, model P14/32. It is the core component responsible for transferring thermal energy from the refrigerant circuit to the pool water, enabling efficient pool heating. Built from titanium, it is engineered to withstand the corrosive effects of chlorinated and salt-treated pool water throughout its service life.

This heat exchanger is specifically designed for the Hydro-Pro Type P On/Off heat pump, model P14/32 — a single-phase (230 V / 50 Hz) unit with a heating capacity of 13.5 kW (at A27/W27) and 9.8 kW (at A15/W25), suited to pool volumes of approximately 50–68 m³. It is not intended for use with other models in the Type P range (e.g. P6/32, P8/32, P12/32, P20/32) or with Inverter-type Hydro-Pro units.

The titanium heat exchanger in the P14/32 carries a 7-year manufacturer’s warranty as part of the original unit — fitting a genuine Hydro-Pro replacement ensures you preserve materials quality and dimensional accuracy. Titanium offers proven resistance to salt and chlorine, which makes it far more durable in pool environments than copper or stainless steel alternatives.

Replacement of the heat exchanger requires draining the heat pump’s water circuit and disconnecting refrigerant lines. This work should only be carried out by a qualified pool technician or refrigeration engineer, as it involves a sealed refrigerant system using R32 gas. Always refer to the official Hydro-Pro Type P installation and service manual before commencing any work.
