This is the genuine Maytronics impeller cover assembly (9991062-ASSY) designed specifically for the Dolphin Supreme M5 Bio PVC robotic pool cleaner. It forms the protective housing that encloses and secures the impeller unit inside the pump motor bay, ensuring correct water flow channelling and keeping debris clear of the impeller blades during every cleaning cycle.

The impeller cover sits directly over the impeller, creating the sealed chamber that generates the suction force driving water — and debris — through the filtration system. Without an intact cover, suction efficiency drops sharply, the impeller is exposed to physical damage from coarse debris, and the motor may overheat due to unrestricted, uncontrolled flow. A correctly seated cover is essential to the robot’s hydraulic performance.

This assembly is the designated cover for the Maytronics Dolphin Supreme M5 Bio PVC platform. The Supreme M5 Bio range is a European-market commercial-grade robot built around a PVC brush configuration suited to all pool surface types. If you are unsure whether this part matches your specific serial variant, cross-reference the SKU 9991062-ASSY against your robot’s parts diagram before ordering.

Replace this cover if you notice a significant and unexplained drop in suction power, audible rattling or grinding from the pump bay during operation, visible cracks or warping on the existing cover, or water bypassing the filter basket — all classic signs that the impeller housing seal has failed or the cover has fractured.

Aftermarket impeller covers are frequently moulded to looser tolerances, allowing micro-gaps that reduce suction head and accelerate impeller wear. This genuine Maytronics assembly is manufactured to OEM dimensions, ensuring a precise fit, correct hydraulic sealing, and compatibility with the motor unit’s mounting points — protecting your investment and maintaining the robot’s warranty status where applicable.
