This is the genuine Davey replacement fan and fan cowl assembly (part 33162SP) designed exclusively for the Starflo DSF150 and DSF150CE pool pump. The motor fan draws cooling air across the motor during operation, while the fan cowl directs and channels that airflow to prevent overheating. Replacing a damaged or broken fan or cowl restores proper motor cooling and helps protect the pump from thermal stress.

This assembly fits the Davey Starflo DSF150 and DSF150CE single-phase pool pumps only. The DSF150CE is the European CE-compliant variant, designed for 220–240 V / 50 Hz power supplies and sold exclusively within Europe. Note that all other Starflo models (DSF200, DSF250, DSF300, DSF420, and three-phase variants) require a different fan and cowl assembly (33163SP) — always verify your model before ordering.

Davey genuine spare parts are manufactured to the exact tolerances of the original components, ensuring a secure fit and correct airflow geometry around the motor. An ill-fitting or off-spec fan cowl can allow hot air recirculation, reducing motor life and potentially voiding your pump’s warranty. Using authentic Davey parts keeps your StarFlo running reliably season after season.

The fan and cowl assembly is located at the rear of the pump motor. Replacement involves removing the motor end cover, detaching the existing fan and cowl, and fitting the new assembly in reverse order. While a competent DIYer can undertake this task, Davey recommends that motor-end servicing be carried out by a qualified technician or authorised Davey service agent to ensure safe and correct reassembly.
