This is the genuine Zodiac complete outer shell (coque complète) for the Vortex 2WD range of robotic pool cleaners, supplied in the distinctive sapphire blue colourway. It forms the structural outer body of the robot, protecting the internal drive, motor and filtration assemblies from pool water ingress and mechanical impact, while giving the cleaner its characteristic form factor.

The outer shell should be replaced when it shows cracking, warping or significant impact damage that compromises the robot’s watertight integrity or prevents the internal components from seating correctly. If the robot suffers a visible fracture after a poolside drop or a collision with a pool fitting, this is the correct part to fit.

Why the handle is not included

The carrying handle is a separate assembly on the Vortex 2WD platform and is not supplied with this shell. If your handle is intact and undamaged, it transfers directly to the new shell. If the handle also requires replacement, order it as a separate line item to avoid duplication costs.
